The watch has a clever design with a mid dial ring date pointer. The sector dial patterns compliment the date ring very well. The size of the case is almost too large and in the future maybe a 38mm size could be the sweet spot. The case over all is very well crafted and takes a back seat to the dial. I prefer this style of watch personally. Two complaints I would have is the thickness and quality of the strap and the fact the lugs are an odd size of 21mm. I would prefer a thinner and softer strap or the option of a metal bracelet. Since Sea-Gull sells metal bracelets separately, I think the marketing would be better if they showed the options for a strap or bracelet before check out. The price could be adjusted in the cart for the choice. As for the movement quality, only time will tell. Over all I am very happy about the watch and the processes. I could possibly see another Sea-Gull watch in my future if the watch functions well.

Good look,but i expected more from the mechanism, It goes ahead 20 second a day. Too much.

This is not a defect, but a normal characteristic of the movement.
