Good finish; the regulation, however, is not as good—it gains about 26 seconds per day, with a beat error ranging from 1.2 to 0.5 (which is too high), though the amplitude is good and stable. The movement itself is solid and appears reliable, but the adjustment is poor; even so, it performs quite well. It would be ideal if it were thinner, which would demonstrate that Sea-Gull is capable of a level of mastery on par with the best Swiss manufacturers. Recommended—yes.
