Ultra-complicated Movement ST8080

The ST8080 is a high-end movement featuring a double tourbillon mechanism, with one tourbillon positioned at 6 o'clock and another off-center tourbillon at 9 o'clock. The concept of a double tourbillon utilizes the principle of "resonance" in physics: when two objects with similar or multiple frequencies interact, they create a "resonance" phenomenon. In horology, this is manifested as "the oscillation frequency and period of two oscillation systems with similar frequencies tend to converge." By introducing two timing references, this movement achieves an averaging effect, further enhancing its timekeeping accuracy.
