Ultra-complicated Movement ST8160
The inspiration behind the creation of this movement comes from the tilt of the Earth's axis during its rotation, known as the obliquity of the ecliptic. The ST8160 movement's tourbillon is designed to mimic this angle, featuring a tilted tourbillon structure. The escapement and regulating mechanism of this project are inclined at a 20° angle to the horizontal plane when the movement is positioned horizontally. This design reduces frictional losses between the pallet and the pallet fork, decreasing the sensitivity of the watch to its position and further improving its timekeeping accuracy.
